I apologize. I meant to write/post this journal over a week ago, but I ended up getting sick and... well, getting sick tends to screw with my real-life plan, which in turn screws with my online plans.
Anyways, the deadline for entering the ASPCA collab-book was Halloween weekend. First and foremost, thank you to do those who sent in entries! Unfortunately, I only received two new entries. Of course, I totally understand everyone's busy around this time of year, so here's my proposal:
Instead of extending the deadline another month, I have decided to put a hold on the project and pick it back up June 2010. That's right, next summer.
This project was originally supposed to be a summer thing, since most people have more time to work on side-projects in the summer, so I feel it would be better if I just moved it back to being a summer thing. This way, everyone has plenty of time (read: seven or eight months) to draw/write something for the book. It also gives me and anyone who wants to help me recruit much more time to persuade artists/writers to participate.
I will updating the information in my journal about the collab-book to reflect these changes. If you have any questions about this, please note me.
For those of you who did send in entries, you have two options: I can hold on to your entries and note you around May to see if you still want them entered in the collab-book. Or if you feel uncomfortable with me holding on to them for whatever reason, send me a note telling me to delete them from my files and I will note you around May to see if you'd still like to participate.
Eventually this collab-book will happen, I swear.
P.S. To anyone who befriended me on the NaNoWriMo site: Could you please let me know? Because unless you're using the same screenname, I won't know to befriend you back! Thank you!
P.P.S. New art coming... soon?
